Would like to do it myself but get to nervous thinking one slip of my hand and the spring could come shooting back at me and split my head open.

If you wanna have a min-geekout you gotta do a few things 1st. You have to open a new thread with a formal invitation, you have to provide the place where the install will take place or at least have someone who has a garage, and last and most certainly not least you gotta have pizza and / or beer. If you have those requirements you will have more than enough help with the install. you might also want to try and invite some of the sr20deforum members as well. They have tons and tons of knowledge about nissans...

i installed my coilovers at my work. of course i had a lift and air tools. but since i am also currently unemployed i wouldnt mind giving someone a hand. but i suggest you remove the struts and take them to local shop with a spring compressor and let them swap the spring. imo i wouldnt do a spring job in a garage ive seen on guy get really hurt messing with those things. especially if you dont know what your doing just my 2 cents
