It was a direct bolt on... it bolted to the pipe with the two bolts that have springs on them. No welding at all but I had to go to the parts store and get a lead dougnut gasket which I gave the part number for in my thread. The flat gasket that came with the header leaked bad.
I see u put a header in ur 1.6, just bought one exactly like it. How did you hook it up to the pipe after the collector? Did u weld to the little flange at the end?
