Recent Observation

Lately with the temp's lowering outside I have noticed that my car seems to run the strongest between 65-75 degrees. I would think that as the temps went below 65 that the car would run the same if not stronger.

Hmmm...in my 2.5 I have noticed an increase of power since it has dipped into the 40s and 50s. Not HUGE, but seems to be more low end maybe due to the colder air. But when I was at WOT with temps in the 60s the air was prolly just as cool due to the speeds. Either way I think there is a little more ooomph in this nice weather

according to the virtual engine calculator, a temp drop of 5 degrees correlates to a drop in quarter mile time by 0.025. This is a linear drop down thru at least 35 F. Since it is linear, i figure it is probably due to a better launch due to cooler air in the engine compt at launch, vice any significant reduction during the run.

My opinion but the 0.025 is a fact
