Automatic trany ideas?

I got an auto (i know, i'm old) since i have a lot of stop and go commuting... Any idea if they make a shift kit for this car like they used to for muscle cars? The trany is so friggin soft it isn't funny. Really a waste of HP to mate it to a trany with no snap.

http://www.maximumtuning.net/ makes a bored out valve body for the tranny that speeds up the shifts and makes the shifts harder.

There is another mod, where you disconnect the line pressure sensor, but I don't recommend this.

Additionally, a tranny cooler will help too. A synthetic fluid combined with a a cooler and a VB upgrade will be well worth the money. probably looking at 500 dollars for a VB upgrade (sometimes they are on special for 350) and around 200 for a tranny cooler unless you do the custom stuff yourself. Some compression fittings, a little tubing bending and some good SS tubing it is not hard.
