Little harness

I just got and installed my Nissan aftermarket fog lamps tonight and in the vacinity of the left taped up fog light harness there was another little wire harness that was smaller and more square, I taped it back up behind the fascia where I found it.

Anybody know what it is intended for?

It's properly the block heater: warm your engine block during cold winter...

so if I don't have the block heater, I guess it is useless?

If you have the harness, you have the block heater. The harness is used to plug into any 110V output (with extension cord). Check your user manual and it'll tell you how to use it.

I don't think so. This harness ended with a small white rectangle plug, nothing like a 110v plug. I never ordered the block heater and it didn't come with it.

That is the Altima's Flux Capacitor.
