drilled slotted rotors question

i just put on a set of drilled slotted rotors with new pads n all...its been about 3-4 days and i realized that while braking, there's a fast ticking noise...im thinking that maybe the slots hit the pads and make the noise and it should go away after a while but i want to hear what other people have to say...thanks alot

When I had my Maxima it did this, I believe.

Barely audible from what I remember.
