Question Driver Side Headlight Issue

I recently replaced my headlights in my 2002 nissan altima and they worked fine for a week but when i tried to fix one on the drivers side i could not get it to go on. Then i replaced it with an older working one and that did not light either. I ordered a new master switch but what else could it be?

There is a TSB on this issue. It involves adding a grounding plate to the headlight assemblies. Remove the headlight bulbs and check the housings to see if they look worn or broken at the point where the bulbs touch the housings. If they are "bad", the assemblies need to be replaced, I've done a few already. Our dealership installs these grounding plate kits for free. I don't know about other dealers. Good luck!

Thanks I am going to call the dealer tomorrow but is there any way that it could be the master switch on the steering column? I have read about that but I am not sure if that could be the problem.

I work Nissan parts. Don't think I've ever sold a switch.
