Struts and Motor mounts

I have a 2004 Altima and I may have to change the struts. Does anyone out there have a recommendation on what brand of strut I should buy? I want something that give me the same ride or better. Also, if I have the motor mounts replaced, should I buy the mounts from the dealer or are the ones at Hi-Lo or Advance Auto just as good? Any suggestions are appreciated.

check energysuspension.com if they have polyurethane motor mounts. they last longer than stock and you will get better response when you push on the gas pedal. struts --> tokiko is the best. I mean the stiffest. if you want softer --> kyb. OEM quality monroe are softest.

Thanks for the reply. You seem knowledgeable. The guy at the dealership mentioned that if I got struts to get the boots as well. What's your opinion? thanks

on the left is the boot and on the right is the strut mount.

boot is just to cover. it does not matter as long as it's not cracked or torn. you need to have your struts covered. good idea to do it. they cost like 20$ a pair or something like that. strut mounts are good on altimas. mine are still stock 95. I have not replaced strut mounts so I don't know much about them.
