should i install a aftermarket cold air intake

i bought a cold air intake for my 2002 Nissan altima 2.5s a couple people told me not to do it cuz it can cause some problems i was wondering from people here is that true so please let me know i would like to install asap but wanna make sure this is a right move to make thanks everyone

The only time it has a chance of causing problems is after you clean the air filter. If you over-oil it, it can blow your MAF, causing your wallet to deflate by $400. If you're worried about this, you could avoid this by buying an AEM DryFlow filter, which requires no oil. Hey, what do you know, I have one lying around!! See my sig.
