4 words any Nissan owner never wants to hear...

"your car's been totaled"... I just got the news about an hour ago. After a tear down and a revised estimate, almost 19K in damages... I am crying right now... The cars estimated value has now dropped to 19K, we will be getting paid 18,600 for the vehicle after deductable. It is still more than KBB.com quotes it as. We owe 16K and will be getting back a nice chunk of change. My wife is actually happy as we can now spend the next 6-9 months eliminating our debt and I can get something else. We will be saving about $700 a month between car note and insurance so it will not take long to rid ALL of our debt. That is 1 of the good things to come of this. The other good thing is that I am going to be upgrading a bit. I will either be picking up a 2003 maxima 6spd or a 2003 G35 sedan 6spd, depending on price. In the mean time I am driving a domestic POS "sports car" that gets spanked by econimy imports, is lathargic, and fuel inefficient. I am going to go now so I can finish crying about my car...:'-(

Really. But I think Rob would take advantage of the warranty on a new car. I still wanna drop a G35X. I think it would be cool.

GReddy claims 334.2WHP with just the turbos at 6psi. the engine all stock, and stock catalic converters. thats a kick ass set-up.

G35, 6spd. No auto, which puts the awd out of the picture. I will personally never own an auto again, they suck. I also want used. I will never buy a new car again. Too much depreciation. I also don't want that sized note again. A 2003 G35 6spd in excellent condition is KBB'ed at 23K. The end of this year will be primo for picking up used '03's. Combine that with a 3% interest rate and I will be paying less than I had with the max. Although if I can't find one that I like for the price that I like I will most definetly get another maxima.

As for parts, I can swap anything as long as a replacement is provided. Seats, I can swap all my seats with (front and back, both front's powered) with some stock leather. Basicly black leather for black perforated AE leather. I also have door sills, AE auto shifter, AE engine cover, (not sure if it was messed up in accident though) BOSE sub, or hell, the entire bose system. Auto AE foot pedals, any misc interior. (black) I also have that custom pop intake with a brand new MAF. My lights are already taken though... Tail lights, wheel locks w/ key. Floor mats. (all in near perfect condition except drivers one) And anything else I might not have thought of.

I will be setting up 1 day next week to go and remove any and all parts, I will need stock replacements then, or you can go with if you choose.
