Super Bowl is finally OVER!!

Thank god! For the past 2 weeks I have been working 15-20 hour days! The last few days, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I lived on nothing but RedBul and candy bars. Going into Saturday night I was downing 3 RedBul's an hour. (Yeah, it could have been expensive if I was paying for them.) I have to say that it was all worth it. I was able to meet more famous people than I could ever dream of. Steven Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith were in the resturant every night up to Super Bowl. I personally got to meet him and chat for a few. I met NFL Commisioners, players, coaches, general managers. More hot women than we could all shake our sticks at. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the entire hotel (New Hilton downtown) was a gargantuan sized club until early morning and everyone was passing out. Leaving work at 4:30 to 5 am walking downtown there were still people walking around drinking, partying, tailgating, and block partying. Travis street was a gridlock until well past 5am. I even had my wife come downtown with some of her friends to enjoy the festivities. That morning I made it home from work before she got home from partying! I enjoyed it and had lots of fun. It was all worth it. But next time I promise to be on the other side of the party!

Did anyone else get to experience anything of Super Bowl?

not me though, i was racing, auto-x sunday, and slept early the saturday before, but houston might have it again, when?? 2009??

Heh... I didn't go closer than the south loop of B8 the entire week before.

I watched on TV, but that was it. I'm not much of a festivities guy.. I'd rather hear the stories and not have the 20 hr workdays and hangovers!

I actually went north for the superbowl. A TV was the clossest I got. Thank God.

I wish it was hangovers I had! eah, 2009 is the next time that we could bid on having it again. The NFL commisioners did like Houston alot because we had 1 thing everyone else doesn't have....SPACE and lots of it! If we get it again I WILL be on the other side of it.
