Detail meet

I was wondering who would be interested in a car wash meet the day/night before our 10-25 meet. That would give everyone the opportunity to detail their cars before the meet. I am going to go later today to a local hand wash shop (some of you guys know which one I am talking about) to see if they would be interested in letting us use their facilities. I was wondering if everyone who would be interested would be willing to pay $5.00 for use of water and electricity. I don't think $5.00 is too much to pay for a covered place to detail. Let me know what yall think and who might be interested.

Yeah, for water and electricity. I will supply a vaccume if necessary. (I like to use my own anyways) As soon as I leave work I am stopping by there.

Yeah, it would be Friday night. I went by last night but everyone was gone by ~6:30pm, which is good, means we can use the place early. I left a letter and my number and hopefully they call me today. If not I might have to leave early and catch them while they are there. I asked to use the place till about 10-11pm. Would that be enough time for people to wash and detail? I will also check out what kind of lighting we will need, if any at all. Anything else I might be forgetting? If everything works out nicely this might be something we do on a regular basis. I know I would like to have a monthly "cleaning", it would give me an excuse to wash Susie-Q at least once a month. ;-)

I havent heard anything yet, I will be going over there tomorrow after church to see whats the deal. If this falls thru, anyone else have any ideas? We will need a water hose, light(can be provided if necessary), and an electrical outlet(for light if necessary and a vaccume).

I have not been able to meet with the person I am to talk to yet. He never seems to be up there when I am. I am starting to think this might not work out in time. I am trying to come up with a backup plan so that we can still get together and detail our cars. If worse comes to worse, we can meet at my place, I have a water hose and can run an extension cord.

I never got ahold of the guy, sorry to burst the bubble. I will be keeping my eye out for somewhere that might let us do it. I do have a somewhere to was/detail tomorrow 10-24-03. It will be at my friends house. There will be water, electricity, and a professional steam cleaner for anyone who wants their interior steamed. The only catch is that it is during the day, so I know that puts alot of you guys out of it. I will still be detailing my car tomorrow night till late at my place and anyone is still invited.
