another nissan in the family...

only this time it's a real sports car...keke...got a rolling chassis 1994 nissan 300zx 2+2 (for the kids)...

surprisingly in the hatch there was a pair of tt brake caliper...

wanna sell them?

(your '94 runs the same calipers as the 90-96TT and 91-96 NA.) only difference is that they switched from aluminum to iron in late 92 or something like that. your 94 are iron, but the 30mm aluminum ones will bolt right on.

no sir...the front appears to have one big piston on one side...not sure bout opposite side of the calipers...the two that i found in the hatch has 4 piston i think...which is from tt...

u sure my 2+2 should have same tt calipers???

ALL Z32 models used the 4 piston Sumitomo calipers.
NA, 2+2, TT, all.

the only difference between them is the 90 and some 91 NA models used a 26mm thick rotor while the TT used a 30mm thick rotor.
in late 91 or so, ALL Z32 models switched to the 30mm rotor.
in 93 or 94, they went to an iron caliper instead of aluminum.

I wonder if they stuck Z31 brakes on it for some reason.. they used single and dual piston sliding calipers....

u're rite dood...i guess i'm getting old...can't remember correctly...i do have the 4 piston caliper upfront...it's the rear that is 2 piston or single piston or wateva...

it was too dark when i looked at the calipers...but i'm pretty sure it is in need of a rebuild...i dunnoe what i wanna do with it yet...but if u got some old goodies from ur old 2+2 we can talk frank...keke...
