I was wondering if anyone knew the offset of the 15x7 aluminum wheels that came stock on 95-97 hardbodys ext. cab 4x4s? Here is a picture of what I'm taking about:
I've looked all around it seems and haven't been able to find the offset of this wheel.
I have those on my truck... the offset is stamped in the back of the wheel, I dont have my truck with me today or I would look for you. try tirerack.com see if it is listed there
I checked tire rack but all I found was aftermarket wheels and the offset on them can vary as well as the width. If you get a chance and can check it when your able that would be great.
It should also be listed in the owners manual I believe. I have a 91' HB (2wd) and it list the offset in mm in the owners manual. They may not be listed in the owners manual on the later trucks though.

Well here's the thing. I know they will bolt on no problem and clear everything fine. The issue is I'm wonder how much they will stick out past the fenders for state inspection purposes. That's why I'm after the offset. I am running aftermarket wheels right now and they are around 0mm offset and barely stick out past. They pass for state inspection though. My stock wheels are +30mm. Does your wheels stick out past the fenders much?
I didnt get a chance to look last night, I got home too late. The wheels are from a 4wd, and the 4wd fender is a little wider, I want to say they are about even with the outside edge of the fender (at the top) but I will take a look when I get home, if they stick out, I really havent noticed.. Are flares a option?
Yea the 4wd's usually have those black flares and state inspection says that flares are an extension of the body so as long as the tire/wheel doesn't stick out past the flare your legal. Which in stock form those trucks didn't have the wheel/tire sticking out past the flare so there fine. I'm not a big fan of flares so that's probably not an option for me. Do you have a picture of what your truck with those wheels on it?
I finally got a chance to check it out.. the tread is even with the outside edge of the fender, the bulge (sidewall) does stick out past the fender. You could run a little narrower tire.. My set up is stock for a 4wd, I do have oem mud flaps so the side of my truck doesnt get covered... I also have the stock flares, just havent put them on...
Thanks for letting me know. My truck has OEM Nissan flaps as well and they stick out past the fenders just a hair so it would be good. I may consider getting getting a set of those wheels for my truck. Found a set on Craigslist decently priced. See what happens.
