Cooling Components?

I am searching for a new thermostat and radiator for my 86 720 z24. I don't think the temp gauge has ever hit midway, even on a 2 hour trip. Anyone know of a good quality, I'm tired of giving autozone my $ for garbage. They showed me a pic of the replacement radiator they have and its pretty much plastic...garbage! My radiator is actually missing about 20% of the fins and looks horrible but still seems to work.

Radiators, automotive radiators, condenser, oem radiators, truck radiators
I used several of their products and am happy with all.

Thumbs up

My Nissan pulsar has never got to half way on the temp gauge either, but that is normal. If you really want to replace the radiator why not just get a radiator shop to recore your old one. I live near the coast, my first radiator core lost a lot of fins so after 11 years I got it recored , they use the original tanks [usually costs about 1/2 to 3/4 of new radiator price]and it has lasted another 12 so far.
