Alright, I am about to undertake a large project. I am looking for a Hardbody, and can find the 2wd's cheaper, but I need a 4wd. I was thinking of taking the 2wd, and swapping the control arms and spindles from a 4x4 over to the 2wd. Since I don't have 2 to looak at and figure it out, I figured I would check and see if anyone had an idea if I could do this, or if I have to buy a 4x4. Also is there a difference in the crossmember? Also on the 4X4's how far can you lower the front end by twisting the torsion bars?

It'll be way cheaper and easier in the long run to simply buy a 4WD in the first place.
