Is 4x4 on HB's full time?
Is the 4wd on the hardbodies full time or can you select a 4x2 mode?

no they are not full-time 4wd. if you have autohubs it allows you to shift-on-the-fly into 4hi, to go into 4lo you need to stop then shift into 4lo.

You have it backward, it is fulltime 2WD with selectable 4WD.
