question about tail light swap... path to HB

ok...as you can tell...I am trying to piece together a 87 hardbody.

I need tyaillights too.

I found a pair of 1992 pathfinder taillights....will they swap out or direct replacement on a 87 hardbody xe 4x4?

I realize the lens configuration ie...clear backup in the middle of the PF light as opposed to the clear backup lens at lower position on the hardbody. This is not an issue for me if they bolt up.

any help would be appreciated.

Why mess with that when you can get new aftermarket lights for less that $50 a pair and custom lights for $50 -$60? See eBay Motors: nissan truck tail light hardbody D21 NEW fits86-97 pair (item 230042179986 end time Oct-30-06 10:28:11 PST)

I believe the PF tails are shorter than the HB tails.....

thanks everybody.

Well...spmebody ripped off the tails while we were working on it......they also took the harnesses. The ebay items do not include harness...the PF ones did.

Get the wiring harness at a junkyard, they might even have some good taillights.
