94 transmission identification

Hi guys,

I've got a 94 hb truck with the ka24 and 5 speedand the damn thing has been great. The only thing we have ever had to do was general maintence. About a month ago the syncros in the tranny took a crap. I took it to a shop that i have gone to for about 12 years and they rebuilt the tranny. About 500 miles later, i'm having the same problem. I took it back, and they "fixed it this time." Now this brings me up to present time and the tranny is still not shifting right. My question to you guys is what is this transmission? I know that the 86-88 five speeds are a FS5R30A but what is mine, and is there a possibility that i could still find a new one some where and just get this over with.

Yep, that's the one. The 4-cyls got a smaller trans than the V6's did.
