1/2" slack is a lot. According to the FRS these are the measurements you should have based on a 1994 GA16DE:

Alternator w/PS - 11 (0.43) | 7 - 9 (0.28 - 0.35) | 6 - 8 (0.24 - 0.31
w/o PS - 10 (0.39) | 7 - 9 (0.28 - 0.35) | 6 - 8 (0.24 - 0.31)

AC Compressor - 9.5 (0.374) | 6 - 8 (0.24 - 0.31) | 5 - 7 (0.20 - 0.28)
PS oil pump - 7.5 (0.295) | 4 - 6 (0.16 - 0.24) | 3 - 5 (0.12 - 0.20)

Applied pushing force - 98 N (10 kg, 22lb)

Hey thanks so much. So I guess the belt deflection on the alternator shouldn't be more than .43 inch. Hmmm...
Ok I fixed the alternator pullies tension. Now that I tightened the tensioner the problem is almost gone completely. The squeaking is much better, but its still there. I think it's because that I didn't tighten the powerstearing pulley now.
Now I am having problem finding the power steering tensioner for my 1996 GA16.

Does anyone have a pic of where it is?(Nice and clear please).
