nis-rod

OK,
So there was this episode of monster garage where they made an old-school hotrod. So I'm in the process of doctoring this photo and here's what I have so far:

The actual PSD file (5 MB) is here:
http://www.sethwas.webcentre.ca/pics/nissan/nismag2.psd

I need some whitewall tires and some chrome. Haven't decided what to do with the doorhandles and trim yet.
I may shave it, and I think I may do the covered rear wheelwell 54-mercury style.

Seth

Shaved the handles and covered the rear tire. Gotta work on the windows now since that apparently is an issue, now they look cartoony.

gotta shave the antenna, and try it with stock lights, or some of the chrome crystal ones, and maybe even a lucino grill. also clean out those fogs. lol. hot rod, not hot-rally-car-thing

its missing something else, ill let ya know later today, but so far so good. looks futuristic kinda hehe.

oh yah, put a moderate tint on the windows, dont go too dark, will make it look smaller.

OH! just for run, chop the top a bit. not wicked sleeper low, just, lower.

i'd probably chop the roof lower and maybe lower the body metal height of the car. That'd give it a more hotrod look

Ok,
Sorry, I updated the PSD file. Still trying to figure out how to make the windows 'crisp' without hand tracing the entire things.

That lower one is nice.
I'm trying to figure out how to work with the front turn signalls.
I'm also debating on what color to do the tint.
