Plug-ins

Hey... I know this isn't Photoshop but it's pretty close... Most of you I imagine also have Adobe Premier 6.0 [video editing software] if you have Adobe Photoshop. I was wondering what plug-ins you guys use and where you got them.... thanks.

And what plug-ins do you have for photoshop? Which ones are your favorite? And where can I find them.

I've been searching the net but, I can't find anything cool. I'm putting a wedding together and it needs a little something more.

Has anyone tried After Effects?

I have my BFA in Media Arts and Animation. So I can tell you what we used when I was in school.

After Effects is a must have if you want to get some nice effects, same for premier, you don't really need to many plug-ins for either one of those programs but there are a few I don't know them off the top of my head cause I'm at work, same thing goes for photoshop. A tip don't put like 5000000000 million transitions for picture to picture (if thats what you are doing) cause that just looks so cheesy. All I have to say is Kazaa Lite is your friend.

Yeah... I got my generals out of the way and this semester I'm going after my BS in Multi Media. I've heard nothing but good things about after effects...

In this wedding video I have nothing but stills for the first part of it because I wasn't there to film it. I was thinking about just desolving it all or just fade in and out... Not sure how I'm going to show 20-50 pics at the start...

Now this is a dumb Q.. .but I have no idea... Do I use after effects while I'm editing it or AFTER? ... god I can't believe I just said that... Is After Effects like a editing platform like Premier or what? I've only heard comments about it. I have no idea how it works.

at school we use AVID MC and Boris FX... but I think they are both a lot more expensive and more pro-grade than the adobe competitions
