Twice in two weeks, my 1987 Nissan wouldn't start in the morning. Upon further research I notice that on very cold nights my brake lights would come on and stay on with no one pressing the brake pedal. This morning the same thing happened again. This time I went outside and depressed the brake pedal. Upon releasing the brake pedal the light went out.
Can cold weather cause this problem? What is the best fix?
I posted this same question in the truck forum.
