What's your favorite HP numbers

This is for a car. Mid-size sedan and smaller.

I like 175-225. I think over 250 is overkill. Its horrible mileage and only makes the car faster than other cars, but not quicker. It also eats tires.
For me 200 hp is plenty because I can use it. Of course I need torque up in the 175 range too. Otherwise 200 hp with 10ftlbs of torque is a joke.

like my I35... 255hp its about perfect for that heavy car. slow in comparison to my 200sx but... its a nice comfortable ride.

i like to keep it in the 150-200whp area....thats more than enough to keep up with some newer cars and since i dont race, its more than enough power for my daily driving needs

I'll say 250+ if you include the G35 as midsize, since its not a big car. Drives well, has AWD, and not bad gas mileage. I could get by with the 190 or so in the A4 and MB C230

Given how I've gotten used to my 1070kg car with 70 hp, I'd say anything over 150 would probably be too much for me around town.

But I could get a 125hp version of the Pulsar... maybe one day I'll see what that feels like.

LOL at Ranex. Aim high there bud!

Something about 400 hp+ stock seems so magical to me for some reason. M5s make me feel funny in the pants.

See, I wish I could edit the poll. I'd make it:
70-90, 90-120, 120-150, 150-175, 175-210, 210-250, 250+.

Then I'd vote for 150-210.

having drivin some new cars (trying to pick a new one for me) i like the 180 -> 220 range. more than enough to get me up a hill w/o rowing the gears and not so much that i will get myself in too much trouble.

With the times being, I voted 0-100 because of such gas prices. If I had free gas, 180/180 at the wheels of a FWD car would be ideal for me.
