Powertrain warranty Question PLZ HELP

i have a 75,000 mile powertrain warranty on my Nissan Sentra year 2000 but i wanted to get a 3.5 inch muffler installed. I wanted to know if anyone knows if this would void my warranty or it shouldnt be a problem. Because the muffler would have to be welded, so if i do it, i cant undo it without blowing more money, thanks ahead of time

powertrain is your tranny and such, an aftermarket muffler shouldnt void your warrenty, but if you throw a Check engine light or Service engine soon light, that might not be covered by warrenty cause of the muffler... you should be ok with everything though...

damn thats good to hear cuz i already got my muffler welded onto the frame of the car and all the morons down at the dealership have no idea whether it will effect my warranty thanks man

Ya, your good to go. It won't void your drivtrain warranty.
