Wiper not working properly

Hello, I have a 91 SE-R, and the lowest setting on the wipers is not working. The motor is fine, and the wiper works great on the higher 2 settings, but for a slight drizzle, it is very annoying to have the wipers constantly rowing back and forth.

Does anyone know a quick fix for this, or would I need a new wiper stalk??

Thanks!

Oh actually, while I'm at it, the front pax side turn signal does not work either. It seems that there is a problem with the wiring. When I turn on the right-side turn signal, the signal repeats really fast, as if there's a short somewhere. However, when I use the hazards, it repeats at the regular pace, just that the pax side lamp doesn't light up. It's NOT a bulb issue, I've checked. I'm just not getting voltage at that plug.

Any ideas?

TIA!

For the turn signal, you probably need a new wiring harness. It'd be about $8 from the dealer. I had the same problem on my '97. The wiper thing is an issue I have with mine, as well. In the intermittent level, it only half wipes, and stops. You're right, it is very annoying. I don't know what the problem is. It doesn't rain much here, so I never worried about it.

check the terminals at the signal light socket...it may not be touching the bulb at all...i use a toothpick to pry them up so they touch the bulb again.

Wiring harness for just the turn signal?? could you elaborate on that?

I will check to see if i'm getting voltage at the socket, if i am, maybe i just need to pull up on the tabs.

thanks
