Lightbulb power steering hoses

hi. I have noticed a small amount of ATF (power steering fluid) under my car each morning now, and have found 2 small leaks - one from each power steering pressure hose. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix these, or make new ones, because buying the actual pressure hoses cost ~$180 each. thanks for any help!

I got a brand new set of hoses off ebay for an '87-89 Pulsar from OEMSurplus for $9.99 + shipping.

You can buy direct from OEM Surplus for $44.82.

Here's a link to the Pulsar parts they have.

thanks for the website, i'll get in touch with that company. I was kinda wondering though, if there's a way I could rebuild them myself? I could find material to do it. So i guess basically what i'm asking is if the steering system relies on a certain volumetric pressure or not.

Only one hose is under high pressure, the other one is the return hose. You can repair the return line. It usually only has a piece of rubber hose clamped onto the pump and metal return line.

As for the pressure hose, you'll have to get it replaced. $45 bucks for two new hoses isn't bad at all.

I don't know why they haven't put them up for auction again. They'll have a new set of auctions on the 8th, if you can wait check out their auctions then. They may put the hoses back up for $9.99 +s/h. It was $23.84 total.

that is a very good price. in fact, that place sells stuff for way cheaper than any dealership. i'll check on ebay on the 8th or 9th or something, and probably doublecheck the part # at the dealership.. thanks a bunch!
