ok, i currently do not have a car, i have about 1000 saved up and a job where ill save about 300/month.

my question is... i am looking to spend between 3 and 5 thousand dollars on a car. (preferably mid 3000s). Which car would you guys recommend I get?

What are you looking for in a car? Do you want to mod it? How functional do you need the car to be - i.e. will you be needing to seat four people comfortably?

Right now, if I had $3,000-$5,000 to blow on a new car, I'd pick up an S13 240SX, preferably a coupe.

I'd get a 87-93 5.0 5spd Mustang for that money.Easy to mod, really cheap to get parts for and lots of interchange with more pedestrian models.Not a Nissan, but you asked!

well im 17... and im thinkin it should last me atleast through sophomore year of college (started senior year of high school). I would prefer a roomy coupe. I do not drive people around too often, but when i do, i would like them to be comfortable. I do not see modding the performance of this car at all within first 6 months of getting it (sound system will probably be it to start). But MAYBE later on, so modding will not be too big of an issue for me.

ive been looking at this one 96 200sx for 4.5g but i wanted to see what other possible options i had.

You can be like me and pick up an already-turboed 240 for 3500. There are plenty turboe'd/sr20 swapped s13s at or below that mark, and for the money, they're an excellent investment.

what year is yours vodka? got any pics?
