hi,
i was wondering, can a 98 speedo unit replace a 96 one? the 96 has the analog and the 98 has digital for the miles.. would the wiring for that be complicated or simlpe?

Are we talking 1.6 or 2.0 clusters?

I have a 98 SE-R cluster in my 96 SE-R. Direct swap, but I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen a cluster w/ a digital odometer. If you have a pic, could you post it?

Not tryin to be a butt-head or anything, but I've got a 98 200SXSE(hense the name) and the odometer isn't digital. Pretty sure they didnt come digital either.

maybe im wrong.. ill go check it out again, i hope its not then so i can get it.
im also thinking about taking the tranny and engine out of the car it has 50k miles on it my car has 119k
