Rear mounts with coilovers???

if i get Tein Basic Damper kit do i need the rear Motivational mounts????? Should i get them or no??????Is it worth the extra $100??????will it make any difference in ride and performance???Im gettin front pillows for the coilover.any help with this would be appreaticated

you dont need the mounts!!!!!!!!! I am going to keep saying this until my face turns blue. My car is lowered with the SS's (which are the same as the basics with the damping control) and they have never once bottomed out. The Tein shock body is already shortened by a bit. Unless you are going to max out the drop you dont need them.

IF however you decide to get them for insurance, the coilover mounts will NOT work. You will need to get the factory ones... Tein built the setup to work with the factory mounts. Motivational makes both... just make sure you get the right ones.

Thank you Nak1,im just goign to go the min. 2.1F 1.7R so u say its not going to bottom out and i still have a stock mounts

mine is lower than the min and on the stock mounts front and back... i drive hard on crappy roads (tampa) and they have not ever bottomed out! The pillows are and mounts are good insurance but not something that is needed to have a good ride with this setup.
