Unhappy 98' Sentra Battery/ Compressor Problem

Whazzup to all you roadstas out there.
I gotta problem and I need the tech assist of some one who is a badass mofo about the rides.
My battery was drained 3 days ago and left me stranded.
Batt can't hold a charge either but the alternator which is old was fine. I bought a new battery and alternator anyway and installed them.( Haynes manual sucks) After I intalled everything, my compressor when I turned on my air, started making a rough noise like someone was running and scraping a stick on a picket fence but a sharper sound. That's another problem too but my car feels sluggish and the bat still can't hold the charge.
I checked battery water level-ok
I checked belt tension-ok
I checked alternator wires and terminals-ok
I check battery connections-ok
I checked if battery was faulty-ok
I checked to make sure my alternator bolts were really tight-ok
I replaced a few burned fuses but still it seems like the battery isn't strong enough.
My battery drain and compressor noise is all I ask answers for.

All you supa car kings, help me out with shit.
A man with no ride is a man without pride!

E-me soon.
