Fuses keep poping

I dont know whats causing this, but my fog lights wont stay on. They keep poping fuses like pop corn. I am, however runnign 55 watt hyper white performance bulbs. would that cause it to blow. Ive already put in a 15 watt fuse, and it lasted for like a week, and then it poped. Now ive tried 20, 25, 30, and 40 watt fuses, and they all got toasted. Could it be the brand of fuse that i am using. i picked this pack up from a "quicky mart" for like a buck 89.
anyway guys, any help will be much appreicated. and Samo, your welcome to help me too!

What was the stock bulb, isn't it like 35w?
If you have aftermarket fog assemblies than its a differnt story, if you are replaceing the OEM ones I don't think its possible to double the wattage that the wiring can handle.

The standard H3 bulb is 35w but 55w shouldn't be causing any problems (anything higher than 55w tends to fuck w/ the connectors). I've been running 55w PIAA ions for 6 months w/o any problems. I think you have a short somewhere.

It's most definately a short. check all the wiring going from the source to the bulb.
