Question Losing Power

Hi is there anyone out there that can help me?

Ok where to begin, Heres a bit of hisory that may help I bought a Nissan 200sx S13 1994 Auto about four months ago from a guy in Rochester. The car drove back to Ashford in Kent fine but during sticking it in park it started to smoke abit. Anywho i was told that that the turbo was on its way out by a company in Essex who had delt with the car before. soooooo I take the car up to them cos they said that they have a secondhand turbo off of another 200 which was a drift car so the turbo was slightly bigger they also fitted a HKS 4.5"exhaust and some metal pipework in the engine bay a manual boost control and theres also an Apex induction kit. So im driving it back from Essex on the motorway and things arent feeling right im putting my footdown and the car is barely capable of doing 50 and its decreasing. I come to a stop atter coming off the slip road when i go to pull away NOTHING i roll out on to the roundabout lucky not to get hit. I turn the car off and then back on and it starts but still with not much power. Then the plums of smoke come. Doh... I get the garage in Ashford to check it over and they tell me the turbos knacked they order a new one and fit it smoke has all gone but still the loss of power, they cleaned all the related pipes checked presures which are fine i had them fit a turbo timer and boost gauge. still nothing and i have spent a load of money. Plzzz HELP

sounds to me like u just need to get the car tuned cause ur ecu is probably havin trouble reading the boost or ur timer isnt set correctly so it could just be boostin ur car too early causin it to chock an slow down. think of it like shiftin gears too early but goin just ten mph. lol ps just a theory

Two things that I can think to check right off, are to first make sure that all your piping is connected and/or not leaking (i.e. boots torn, clamps loose, intercooler/piping cracked etc.). If you don't see anything noticeably wrong, check to make sure your Mass Air Flow sensor is in good working order.
