Goodbye...I am selling my Sentra...

Well, I want to thank everyone for the information to better understand my Sentra. I wish I could have had access to this site over 8 years ago. It would have prevented many headaches. Many of the issues I have had, 2 front main seals, 1 alternator, etc. are some of the weak areas of this car. But, it had many more strengths. I loved the way it handled. I loved the peppy motor. To me, it had a beautiful body. I replaced the second leaking front main seal last week, and now it sounds like a timing chain tensioner went south. I bought the Sentra to be able to transport people. I needed reliable transportation. That is what I have with my 99 Saturn. Yes, there is more of a fun factor with the Sentra, but reliability is less as it ages. So, I probably won't be around much anymore. In my own limited way I tried to pass on information to members that may be helpful. In retrospect, some of it was probably not so helpful. Sorry about that. But, I gave it my best shot. I am going to stick to my day job (Social Work), and my night job (taking car of cats). That does not leave much time for repairing cars, which in the long run, may be better. The more I work on cars, the better I understand that not everyone is made to be a mechanic. I will always hold my Sentra as one of the top vehicles I have ever had. I got my money's worth. I hope everyone else here will also. Peace!

Thanks. I will try. I already miss the Sentra, and it has not been a day since I sold her.
