Question Flushing radiator-help!!!

when hooking up a flush kit to the raditor hose, which hose do I use?...the hose that goes in towards the back of the block or towards the front....I had bypassed the heater core to drive the car...now the new heater core is in and i want to reconnect the hoses to the core pipes coming thru the firewall...I cant remember which hose goes on which pipe...the pipes are one above the other...it is a 1989 nissan d-21 pickup 4 cyl z24 engine 2wd...thanks for the help..i have a flush inlet installed on one hose already and I don't want to hook it up wrong coz i know what will happen if i flush the wrong line
