I don't belive this

Ok, here it is. A few of my friends and I were discussing cars. I was talking about what I was doing to my car and they were talking about what they were doing to theirs. I was talking about upgrading to stage 1 with my skyline and they were talking about adding "Carbon Fiber Stickers ", exhaust, intake and rims. They were trying to tell me that a Honda Civic Hatchback (don't know the year) ran low 12's with only a GSR motor and 10 lbs of boost...Is that possible? I really can't believe it untill I see it.

My friends don't know much about cars..I mean they are talking about putting carbon fiber stickers on his new scion..*they have those?*

Well anyways, tell me what you think so I can relay back to them cause I don't believe that one bit.

'only a GSR motor and 10 lbs of boost'...so you don't think it is possible?

I think a stock GSR is good for ~170hp. Add 10lbs of turbo boost and my guess the hp could be up to 270-ish (at the crank).

I'm no Honda guy but the info is searchable.

I would think it was possible with that much hp and that light of a car (CRX).

I haven't been doing my research. Been really busy with work. I guess I am not that much of a Honda person to know.

My friend has a gs-r integra with the itr block and internals (both engines are the b18c series, just upgrade performance wise) running 12 ps1 and is nearing the 307 hp mark (with other mods of course.so to answer your question: yes, it was probably in the EG hatch (92-95 civic) probably an HX (cause it was the lightest of all the trim models). i used to be a honda-nut until i bought my b13, now i have to start all over.
