Cant Start Car... Help

For some odd reason i had gotton a CEL and so i tried to do the self diagnoses on my 96 QUEST using this as my guide: http://www.nmia.com/~dgnrg/nissan1.htm
and when i did i didnt realize that i had the diagram backwords and had the wire hooked up differently for a few sec...
well turns out that i got the wire in the right place and did the diagnoses, and it turned out to 0505 which is nothin, but now my car wont start. it just makes a buzzing sound come from the lower right side of engine close to starter, but not sure if it is the starter. the engine turns but no start. please help...

so u say the engine turns right? how good is your battery? most of the times its just the starter...but it can be many things, check for vacuum leaks also
