87 nissan pickup light problem

hi,
Was wondering if someone had some input.
Have a 87 nissan pickup and the brake ligths and bakeup lights quit working all of a sudden, also around the same time the interior lights quit, but have come bake on since then. Have checked wiring and fuses but seem to be stumped, and have asked around but no success. Anyone have any idea, would be much appreciated.

My guess would be either a short in the harness somewhere, a relay that's about to kick the bucket, or a loose connection somewhere in the harness.

If you end up having to replace the harness, figure it's not going to be cheap, as it's a rather dated vehicle, and Nissan dealerships don't stock that sort of thing. Both of these are big factors in Nissan replacement pricing.
