I have a '99 Altima SE automatic. I now have 214,000 miles on it. At ~ 150,000 miles I had a transmission pressure flush. I wasn't having any symptoms, but just heard it might be a good idea.

I recently met an ex-Nissan mechanic who told me that the automatic transmission used in that year (I forget the transmission brand/model he told me) is practically bulletproof. Has anyone heard of this? Do I have a magic transmission in my Altima? Thanks!
