Can any one help me. I am wondering would happen if I put a 225/45R17 tire on my Altima. I have OEM 215/55R17 tires on there now. This is a 5.1% difference in overall tire diameter. Will this cause any braking or suspension problems? I know if I went with an 18" wheel, the problem is solved but I found some 17" wheels that I like for cheap. I also like the look of the Altima SER wheels if anyone has a set in good condition. Any suggestions?

you shouldnt have any problems. just check the clearance on them. you can go to tires.com and see what it will do to the speedo if anything
