Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of buying my first car. Right now I am looking at two cars Altima GXE 2000 with 118,000 female driven and a Altima 2003 3.5 Loaded with 97,000 (highway miles?). The owner of the 2000 is asking for 3,500. The 2003 is at a used car dealership and they're asking for 10,000 who is willing I drop it down to 9,000 if payed in cash.

Here is my financial situation, have exactly 9,000 which will leave me broke for this month.

I guess the reason for posting this is to have some opinions as to what I should go with.

Either way get the car checked out by an independent tech. It sounds like the $9K car will stretch you too thin. What about insurance, sales tax, and probably a repair? I'd spend less & keep some money in reserve, assuming the cheaper car checks out OK.

yeah, i got the 200 gxe and i love it...i'd go with that, and save that extra money up, or use it for some parts like exhaust, intake, and a few other things
