Arrow 90 Stanza ECM Where???

Ok I looked under the front seats and behind left and right side kick panels. All I found was a bunch of Taco bell wrapers and receipts from the local drive inn. Can anyone tell me where the ECM is? I have the check engine light on and it needs to go out and I don't really want to pull the bulb

Second question: The engine has a rattle noise coming from the front. It sounds like maybe the death rattle of a timing chain or tensioner. It goes away with the slightest increase in engine RPM. Is this a replacement item without major work?? or shall I just ???? Shoot it.

90 Stanza ECM

Hi,
Ok- in the passenger floorboard, remove the front panel of the center console (you'll have to unscrew the screws to the 2nd panel, but not remove it). There it is!

(Couldn't tell ya about that Death Rattle.Sorry dude...)

rattle noise maybe for many reasons:
low octane gasoline(try 89)
incorrect ignition timing
incorrect spark plugs.
clugged catalytic converter.(least likely)
anyway check these three things above

then
maybe one of your heat shields of exhaust system is making this noise. you
can take them off and see if the noise goes away and then put them back on.

in case you don't take care of your car a lot:
change fuel filter, air filter, put new spark plugs, clean throttle body with engine off.

in case you are stil having problems and use Bosch spark plugs:
get NGK spark plugs platinum(iridium is not worth the price I heard, they just last
longer). the rattling noise is gone in my car now.
bosch sparkies work bad in nissans.
