1998 200SX wiring

Ok so i bought a 98 nissan from a dude and after about a year of having it i want to replace its sound system. when i went to open up the CD player that (HE) installed the wiring was a mess open wires were hanging out , wires were crossing bla bla HORRID. well i fixed that and now i went to replace the speakers in the doors and the wires i found are unmarked and not ur average colors. the colors are green/yellow and a purple wire anyone know which is positive n which is negative or are these his custom wires he installed?
