The ground wire that comes off of the battery. Not the 4 gauge or main wire the one that is about a 12 gauge on the side of neg. terminal. I am quit sure it would be a chassis ground. Would that have any thing to do with the Fuel Pump?

I would go and hook it up but it's dark out and I've already taken the pump out of the assembly. I am getting a new pump as soon as my Monte Carlo SS sells to the Ebay $99 Walbro 255 Fuel Pump a lot of you guys are using now. God, Advanced and Autozone want $238+tax for a OEM one. This way I don't have to worry about fuel for my coming upgrades too!

That won't be until Friday though. So I need to park the Monte and get the Nissan on the road until then. Plus I don't wanna put the whole fuel pump back together just to find out that the chassis ground has nothing to do with the fuel pump.

Any help would be great!
