The 200SX questions about pricing

Alright first of all im new here so im sorry if I break any major rules. Ok I will let you guys know the rundown. Went to this dealership with my father and they had a 95 200SX SE with 57k for sales and it was only like $4k so he was like im going to buy this car for you so you cant drive to college without using my car so I was happy and shit. Next day my dad goes on this bullshit website called edmunds. I look on this site they are trying to say that I should be only paying no more then $2k for this car with the low mileage. My dad now refuses to even look at a older car and pretends I have no knowledge about anything I think that website is bullshit. You guys dont really understand how pissed off I am right now. I love the older Nissan sports cars so this was like a dream come true. What do you guys think about Edmunds and do you agree with the prices they say they should be selling that car for?

what does the Kelly blue book say it is valued at? even at $4k the dealership is still going to make a nice profit. it does sound a little high (it is a 12 year vehicle after all), but you will be hard pressed to find another one at a cheaper price.

The Kelly Blue Book gives it a retail value of around $4,000 for a low milage and in excellent condition depending on what part of the country you live. Negotiate with the dealer for a lower price. Offering a cash deal will often work in your favor with a better price.

The Kelly Blue Book web site is: New Car Prices | Used Car Values - Official Kelley Blue Book Site
