200sx turbo questions

I own a 1984 nissan 200sx turbo the ca18det i think? what kind of turbo does it have stock? how many pounds can that turbo push? how many pounds can the stock block hold? as far as upgrades what should i go with first because i want to make it a 14 second car? please let me know what you all think? also what kind of turbo could i upgrade to on my 200? and what all would i need with it?

yeah im looking at buying a 86 200sx turbo, and want some ideas of good cheap upgrades from you pros here, also the gas guage doesn't work but the low fuel light comes on is there an easy fix? i know nothing about these digital dashes

I have a 85 turbo S12 it is not a T25 It is a garret T2 (yeah huge) and they run around 6psi stock boost.

ya its a t2 and you can boost it to about 10psi, then you will just be creating heat. Get a t25 and bigger injectors.

yea if its a USDM car then its a ca18et, not det. ca18det is a good direction to go with this car tho (imo). on the other hand an sr swap would bring alot more aftermarket support, which is also possible with this lil beauty. What else, oh the internals in ur ca18et are ppffft. Id really consider putting a lot of boost to that baby or else u'll surely pop her. check out www.club-s12.org bcause they definiteyl have ALOT of info on this car. The "main source" if you will. Those guys are really great. You know, for those "high rollers" its possible to put a 25 in the car. i believe it may have been done, but dunno if that car is running as of yet. check it out, learn abotu ur car. its fun, but a small niche.
