Pacesetter Header

Anyone that has a pacesetter header, do any of you have information or pictures of the install on a B13? I'd like to know because I've had soo many problems with mine. You can take a look on my website:

http://1minute.com/dan/

Also, do any of you know what the correct primaries are? 1-4/2-3? And if a custom header was mad like Bob Legere's, how long should the primaries be for optimum mid-top end power without loosing bottom end power?

Thanks,

You may have to undo the bolts that hold it to the side of the block. Once you do that, use some force and pull it away from the header just enough to fit the header in place and then work the EGR pipe (metal pipe) back into place. If that doesn't work, call Joe @ pacesetter. Give him a hassle I'm still waiting on him to fix my header. Either he fixes it or he gives me my money back, I'm not about to go through 19 hours of labor again for a stupid header.

Good luck, and don't over tighten the header manifold bolts. I did that on mine and one came out stripped... just make it slightly snug or use the torque manual or whatever they use for torque specs.

I had the same problem when I've install my pacesetter header. You can screw the pipe that comes from the EGR valve into the header and afterwards you can force the header to get into place. And I had to get a doghnut to.

Hey Dho, do you have you cat on your front pipe like the american model had (I'm not sure about the B-13 though) That's probably why you had to buy a pipe.

when i installed mine about 8 months ago in my 94 xe 4dr, i had no problems what so ever. it took about an hour total. the metal pipe (egr) has to be loosened from the block like mentioned above, but other than that, no problems. if you have questions, feel free to pm me...

i beg the differ, ps headers are not the best, don't get me wrong. but i've had mine for 8 months, and after 2 months, yes they did look like crap. but i powder coated them and they are still looking good. they are not complete sh*t, they do get the job done better than the stock manifold.

they dont suck

They are believe it or not is a hs design!!!!one of there first...ps bought the rights to it.....the paint does suck but i striped it as soon as i got it hot stuffed it and wraped it with dei and then painted it with dei silver heat coating...looks like cast now and it matches my intake manifold and other oem cast peices...its good for roughly 4-6hp with a slightly wider power band than hs 3rd gen...they really arnt made for 95-99 1.6s though ;instead there made for 91-94's....thats were most of the problem is...all in all 200 bucks..not bad why spend a extra 150 to 200 if its only good for 1-2 more horses??????

Actualy they STOLE the design off of Hotshot, bought one of the first gen hotshot headers and copied it without Hotshot permission. Hotshot is very pissed.

The Pacesetter actualy drops right into Hotshots jigs!
