I just heard about that GA16DE having a speed limiter on the engine and I am kinda confused on this....could anybody please tell me why this GA16 has it and the SR20 doesn't? And that's not real important...but what is to me is...at what speed does it start limiting? Also...any way to remove this "limiter"? Thanks

is there a real reason why you would care about the rev limiter, you wont get up that high as a drag strip or motoX event.. its at 109mph for the ga, if you mod your car that much that you can get that fast in a short time, then you will need the ecu reprogrammed anyways and it will eliminate that...

I was just curious...I have hit 100 before...pushin it...but I didn't know what it could do...I know I'll never get it any higher though. LMAO! Thanks though

I'm going to assume for your benifit that your autoXing your car when your going that fast.

There are several mods to do before you worry about your ECU though.

I have no mods on it currently..just a cat back exhaust...I think it's bigger than 2'' diameter, but I didn't put it on...it sounds really shitty as well with a cheap empty muffler...(I had to put my own baffling in it to make it sound decent and al)l...but yeah...racin isn't really my thing...I have raced my friend a few times, but that doesn't really go past 80...that stuff is just off the line and all

What mods would you recommend that are cheap that just improve performace slightly...or any mods or something to improve gas mileage?

go to www.sentra.net read that, they will tell you most of the stuff you need to know bout yoru car... but good cheap mods are cai or pulley. if you really want speed go a turbo

I dont know why, it just my stock Nissan Sunny (Sentra) got 185 Kilo Meters per min or you can say 116 mph as to your area calculation. I dont know is it because we are in the arabian Gulf ( it is true that we might not have speed limiter?) and one more thing, my car start the cut off rpm on 6300, my car reachs 185 kph and then it shifts to overdirve because it is automatic.

it feels like 3 speeds only. now I have Simota Air filter unit on my car, that is helping if your rpm reachs more then 3000 rpm.

did you use a gps to find that speed or did your speedo say that? the speedo's are wrong up high.
