Cleaning/Polishing rust on stromung exhaust...

What product would be best for this? It's got light rust on most of the mid-pipe and heavier rust on the flanges. =/

Any help would be much appreciated.

I shine it up with rubbing compound. The flanges, use a wire brush on the drill get it all off, paint rust oleum black gloss oil paint on them. It lasts well on the exhaust flanges. Or, just remove the rust and use the compound. That is what I do.

only use a wire brush on NONE POLISHED SURFACES. use krylon BBq paint (will stand up to 1.2K*) on any parts you dont want to rust again. on any polished surfaces (like the tip or the muffler can) use a product found at walmart called "never dull" it comes in a tin can and is a cotton wadding soaked in a cleaning oil. i use this on all my stuff and took all the surface rust off my intake pipe/exhaust tip.

Thanks guys... I actually have a can of that never dull from eagle one for a while now... That'll take off some rust aswell as polish pete?

it polishes great. but it may not protect like some polishes may (i have found that some paste type polishes have a sealent in them and protect alittle longer) so atleast take the surface rust off first, if the metal starts to oxidize later on get a good polish+sealer off ebay (search "metal sealer")
