Where can I attach a remote starter besides the starter motor?

I want to run a compression test on my 96 Sentra and I would like to use my remote starter. With my other cars, I have simply attached the one wire of my remote starter to battery voltage and the other to the ignition wire attachment at the starter. The starter in my car is in such a bad place that I would like to attach it somewhere else. Suggestions please.

Worst case grab the starter wire under the drivers dash from the ignition cylinder. The start wire will be black/yellow. There is also a second start wire that is black/bue. They are thicker gauge wires.
